Designed by well-known Australian quilt pattern designer, fabric designer and author - Karen Styles of Somerset Patchwork.
The New Canterbury quilt, has been designed in Karen's favourite, and best known, quilt style - medallion.
Starting with a hand stitched English Paper Piecing medallion centre, the quilt radiates out in a series of divine borders featuring hexagons and delightful Ohio Stars, as well as piecing combined with EPP.
The quilt has been designed using Karen's newly released reproduction fabric range, New Canterbury for The Devonstone Collection.
Featuring lovely florals, stripes and ditsies in sweet pinks, mauves, warm coca browns, teals, lilacs and creams, they will transport you to the elegance of days past.
Karen's inspiration for her fabric designs come from traditional quilts from the 1800's. Her increasing love for antique English quilts and a connection to her English heritage are shown here in New Canterbury.

Kit Options:
English Paper Piecing Template and Papers - The pattern uses approx 400 x 1/2" Hexagon shapes. You can add on a pack of 400 papers and an acrylic template by selecting the options above.
