The Birdhouse Owl & Hare Hollow Pattern
Designed by Natalie Bird from The Birdhouse, your happy place in the countryside is a lovely place to escape to when life gets too busy.
The Owl and Hare Hollow quilt is inspired by Natalie's love for the countryside with its winding country lanes, tea and scones in the garden, watching the flowers sway in the breeze, the bees dancing above and a house on a hill watching over it all.
Sharing the same name as Natalie's new fabric range, Owl & Hare Hollow features exclusive stitcheries, labels and a special border print.
The quilt is made with a fun mix of techniques, Applique, English Paper Piecing, Stitchery and Patchwork.It was the Homespun Magazines Block of the Month program in 2023 and now Natalie Bird has published the pattern in full. No need to purchase the magazine to access the pattern as it is now included in the kit.

English Paper Piecing Pack
The English Paper Piecing component of the quilt uses 1/2" Hexagons, 3/8" Hexagons, 2" Coffins, 2" Pointed Dresdens and 1" Circle shapes and Arc Segments.
The EPP Pack contains the required number of papers and acrylic templates that are used in the quilt and it can be added as an option when adding the kit to your cart.
Cosmo Embroidery Thread Pack
Natalie has used Cosmo Embroidery Threads for the stitchery and we have put together a pack of 18 Threads which can be added as an option when adding the kit to your cart.
Pre-Printed Stitchery Panel
All of the embroidery designs are printed on the beautiful cotton/linen blend fabric ready for you to start stitching!
No tracing required.
