Rayon is a semi-synthetic fabric made of cellulose fiber such as wood pulp or bamboo. Soft, silky and lightweight, it has a similar drape to silk and a smooth hand, yet it is also a strong fabric. Rayon’s fluid drape makes it a great choice for clothing that flows, from drapey tops to loose bottoms. It’s moisture absorbency and breathability aslo make it popular for athleticwear.

Prewash rayon to avoid shrinkage. To care for your rayon makes, wash in cold water on the delicate cycle, and avoid the tumble dryer. When pressing rayon use a medium heat dry iron and a pressing cloth.
